69 Hospitals for Migrant Worker Health Checks: Latest List

On August 19, 2569, the Department of Employment issued an Announcement regarding the list of private medical facilities that meet the criteria for private medical facilities to conduct health examinations for migrant workers who will apply for a work permit according to the Cabinet Resolution (Issue 16), adding 2 more medical facilities. This brings the cumulative list since the first issue (Dec 26, 2568) to 69 facilities nationwide. The announcement clearly states that the added medical facilities are those that have passed the Department of Employment's criteria review and have integrated health examination data with the Department of Employment's system. This latter point is crucial, because when examination results are automatically entered into the system, the work permit application process can proceed without the risk of documents being rejected.

⚠️ This announcement is a list of private medical facilities that meet the criteria. It does not mean that examinations cannot be done elsewhere. Government hospitals and local practices still exist. The safest approach is to call the Provincial Employment Office (PEO) where you will submit the application before taking the migrant worker for examination.

• 🔹 Call to book an appointment in advance — Many places accept migrant worker examinations only on specified days and times.
• 🔹 Ask clearly if they accept Cabinet resolution groups — Some places accept only certain groups or nationalities.
• 🔹 Prepare original documents of the migrant worker — Passport/identification documents and documents the employer uses for submission.
• 🔹 Ask if the examination results are submitted directly to the Department of Employment system — And when the medical certificate will be received, as the date of results affects the submission deadline.

This list changes very frequently — 16 versions within 8 months, an average of 2 versions per month. Therefore, the list recorded at the beginning of the year may not match the current one. Taking migrant workers for examination at a medical facility that is not on the list may result in the examination results being unusable for submission, requiring a new examination fee and risking missing the submission deadline. Always check the latest announcement on the Department of Employment website (doe.go.th) before making an appointment.
